For House A. Sauvage, offering Made to Measure is essential to our ‘Dress Easy’ philosophy and lifestyle. Aligning seamlessly with the House and its ready to wear offering, the Made to Measure service is an extension of our character and the pinnacle of our experience.

It all begins with the first appointment. Seated in our Beverly Hills or Central London atelier, the client discusses their project with our creative director – the mind that follows the making of their suit every step of the way.

Ever perceptive of his clients and friends of the House, the designer will encourage a laid-back conversation to better understand his client; their interests, wardrobe, attitude, and lifestyle. What style of suit are they looking for? For what kind of occasion and season? These questions enable the designer to gauge his clients' desires so as to achieve the desired outcome.

A fitting then takes place, where the client is measured up in one of our signature Made to Measure blocks. Carefully assessing every curve and line on the body, the designer will compose the perfect fit and cut the client is looking for.

Whether it be for Daywear or Eveningwear, our Made to Measure service provides clients with the perfect cloth, sourced from only the finest mills in Europe, with the perfect combination of lapels, pockets, and buttons.

After this hour with his client, the designer has all the information he needs to begin the process of the perfect A. Sauvage bespoke suit.

Following this first appointment, the highly skilled craftsmen set about making the suit. While the suits are entirely sewn by a specialist tailors, the construction is crafted by the master tailors, who constantly have in mind the figuration of the client's recorded measurements so as to masterfully bring the costumier’s carefully constructed vision to a 3D reality. All Made to Measure pieces are exclusively made in Italy.

House A. Sauvage, of course, strives to keep the client in tune with the making process of their custom suit, providing regular updates of the client’s order. As soon as the suit has returned to the atelier, the client is booked in for a final fitting with the costumier. With every measure being taken along the way to ensure the suit has been entirely sewn to their initial requirements discussed at the first appointment.

The costumier concludes this six-to-eight-week process by assessing every last detail and will add any final touches he feels are needed to complete the look of the perfect A. Sauvage suit.
